Right time.
Right pay.

Kairo is time and attendance for Irish teams across cafés, kitchens, hubs and home desks. Staff clock in with one tap and watch their pay build. Managers only see what needs them. Working Time Act records keep themselves.

Opening to Irish teams soon. Free for up to 5 staff. Data stays in the EU.

You choose how each site clocks in.

A café with four regulars and a kitchen with forty agency staff don't need the same rules. Set the method per site, from no friction at all to a code that has to be scanned at the door.

One tap

Staff clock in from their phone. Right for trusted teams and small sites.

QR at the door

A code on a wall tablet changes every 30 seconds. Nobody clocks in from the bus.

Location check

Staff must be within a radius you set of their shift's site. Checked once at the punch and confirmed on screen. Never tracked during the shift.

Working from home

Remote and hybrid staff clock in to a home location with the same rules.

Rejected overtime removes the premium. Never the hours.

Most tools let a manager delete time that wasn't approved. That's a wage claim waiting to happen. In Kairo, every minute worked is recorded and paid. Approval only decides whether the overtime rate applies.

Each person has their own overtime cap per pay period. Staff see how close they are. Managers see who's about to go over before they do.

Running by Monday.

  1. Step 1

Set up your sites, teams and shifts

Most teams are done in fifteen minutes. Rates, overtime caps and pay periods are set per person.

  2. Step 2

    Invite your staff

They open a link and add Kairo to their home screen. No app store, no passwords to forget.

  3. Step 3

    Approve and export

Approve overtime, fix the odd missed punch, and export a payroll-ready file at the end of each period.

Pay for the people who clock in.

No fees per site or per location. If someone doesn't clock in during the month, they're not on the bill. Annual plans save 15%.

Questions

What counts as an active person?

Anyone who clocks in at least once in the billing month. Seasonal staff who are off for the winter cost nothing while they're off.

Does Kairo replace our payroll software?

No. Kairo shows staff an estimate of gross pay and gives your payroll a clean, approved file. Tax, PRSI and USC stay in your payroll software.

Do you track where staff are?

No. A manager can turn on location check for a site, on the Pro plan. Then Kairo reads the phone's location once, at the moment someone clocks in, and only accepts it within the radius set for their shift's site. Staff see straight away that it was verified. Nothing is read during the shift or after clock-out.

What happens when overtime is rejected?

The hours are still recorded and paid at the normal rate, because they were worked. Rejecting removes the overtime premium, not the time.

When can we start?

Kairo is opening to a first group of Irish teams. Ask for early access and we'll set you up and stay in touch while we do. The demo shows the full product today.

Where is our data stored?

In the EU. Staff can see and correct their own contact details, and you can export everything at any time.

See it with a real team's week.

The demo is a café group with three sites, fourteen people and live shifts.
